I made this photograph early one morning as I was traveling to another location. This is in the Loosahatchie River bottoms just north of Memphis Tennessee. The dead cypress trees looked stark against the foggy early morning. no enhancements.
Road Beside Cane Grove on Kauai Hawaii
Kauai is one of the Hawaiian Islands. This can grove was located in one of the island's refuges.
Lupine in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan
On a trip through Michigan's Upper Peninsula, I found these purple wildflowers growing alongside the highway. They are a member of the lupine family which includes over 198 species.
Bluebonnets on the Fence
The bluebonnets are in the Texas Hill Country. I made this photograph near Ennis in the spring. The old fence row adds depth to this simple image.

These red tulips were photographed at a botanical garden in Memphis Tennessee. Springtime is a wonderful time for tulips and many other varieties of flowers.

I made this photograph of a Sticky Geranium in a neat little place called Kirks Hill in Bozeman, Montana. I was very distinctive looking, and I was on the prowl for wildflowers.

The Pink Lady's Slipper has a scientific name of Cypripedium acuale. I made this photograph in the Cherokee National Forest in East Tennessee.

Birch Trees of the Upper Peninsula
This dirt road leads through the Lake Superior State Forest. It is located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Birch trees have white scaly bark and are easily recognized.
Fire Hydrant in the Sand
This is a historic picture. The fire hydrant is still there, but probably condos suround it now. This was made on a Destin Florida beach. The sea oats surround the red fire hydrant.
Two Zebras
These two zebras were facing each other making a nice almost mirror-like photograph. They were awaiting lunch at the Memphis Zoo.
Two Wild Donkeys
While driving in Western Nebraska I stopped in Fort Robinson and spotted these two wild donkeys. Mother and baby.

These two goats were photographed together on a grass roof at Al Johnsons Restaurant in Sister Bay in Door County Wisconsin.
